Why use a broker
Why buy your next car through a broker
Same car, same dealer, same warranty. The difference is that someone who knows the numbers does the negotiating.

What you get with a broker
Dealers compete for your business
When you shop alone, you usually negotiate with one dealer at a time. When we shop for you, several dealers price the same car, in writing, knowing others are being asked too. That competition is the main reason buyers use a broker.
You see the real price, not a payment
A monthly payment hides a lot: the loan term, the rate, add-ons and fees. We ask for the out-the-door price first, so you can compare dealers on the number that matters, then look at financing separately.
Add-ons get caught early
Paint protection, nitrogen-filled tires, VIN etching and "market adjustments" show up on a lot of dealer sheets. We list every one in the quote and ask for removal before you visit.
Your trade-in stays separate
Mixing the trade into the purchase makes it easy to give back on one side what you won on the other. We keep them apart so you can judge both.
Your time
Most of the work happens by phone and email while you're at work. Often the only dealer visit is the one where you sign and pick up the car.
When a broker isn't the right fit
If you enjoy negotiating, have a free weekend and only want a car that one nearby dealer has, you may not need us. We'd rather say so up front.
Buying it yourself vs. using a broker
The car is the same either way. What changes is who does the legwork, and who's across the desk from the dealer.
Questions people ask
Is a car broker worth it?
For most buyers who know what they want and dislike negotiating, yes. You get competing written quotes without visiting each dealer. If you enjoy negotiating and have time to visit several stores, you can do much of this yourself.
Is an auto broker the same as a dealer?
No. A dealer sells cars from its own inventory. A broker works for the buyer and shops across many dealers.
Does a broker get a better price than I would?
A broker brings more competition, because several dealers are bidding for the same sale. And a broker who works with dealers regularly knows what a normal fee looks like and which add-ons are negotiable.
Can a broker help with a used car?
Yes. For used vehicles we also look at the vehicle history report and ask for service records before you commit.
